Gordon Sharp at Pioneer Invite

NORTHAMPTON, Mass.— Junior Corrine Previte (Danvers, Mass.) continued another strong season on Saturday with a pair of top 10 finishes at the Pioneer Invitational on the campus of Smith College.

Gordon will compete for the third straight weekend when they travel to Connecticut College for the Silfen Invitational next week.

Highlights
  • Previte began the day with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter race. The junior sprinter timed out at 13.64 in a very close first heat.
  •  In the 200-meter race, Previte was the top Gordon finisher in ninth place overall with a time of 27.68.
  • First-year Julia Drewicke (San Francisco, Calif.) won the third heat and finished just outside the top 10 in the 1,500 meter event. Drewicke ran to a time of 5:19.45, good enough for 13th place.
  • Freshman Madison St Julien (Wareham, Mass.) was seventh in the women's triple jump.
