BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Eight out of the nine starters all recorded hits for the Eagles.
- Senior Jessie Daulton and junior Tatiana Cortez each went 1-of-3 at the plate with a walk. Both extended their respective hitting streaks to seven games.
- Sophomore Annie Murphy went 2-of-4 with an RBI. She has now recorded a hit in nine of the last 10 games while reaching base in 11 of her last 12.
- Sophomore Allyson Frei once again turned in a dominant performance in relief, throwing 6.2 shutout innings, conceding just three hits, no earned runs while striking out nine and walking only one.
TURNING POINT
- Boston College took the lead with four runs in the second inning and never looked back.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolfpack took a 2-0 lead after the first inning courtesy of solo home runs from T. Ross and M. Burroughs.
- The Eagles would answer in the very next inning, plating four runs. Freshman Danielle Thomas got things started, drawing a walk with the bases loaded, scoring senior Megan Cooley. Freshman Loren DiEmmanuele and Allyson Moore would score later off a throwing error. Thomas would later score on a Murphy groundout to cap the inning's scoring.
- Boston College would tack on an insurance run in the top of the fifth when junior Taylor Coroneos came home on a wild pitch.

The Eagles will travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Providence on Wednesday, April 27 at 6 p.m. at Glay Field.
