BUZZARDS BAY, Mass.—Seniors Scott Doten (Western Springs, Ill.) and Spencer Low (Natick, Mass.) combined for four goals and five assists as visiting Babson College cruised past Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 16-5, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbor Stadium.

With its third straight win, Babson is now 4-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play, while Mass. Maritime slips to 5-8 overall and 1-2 in the NEWMAC.

Low scored three times and Doten added one goal and a game-high four assists for the Beavers.
Sophomore Axel Brown (Little Compton, R.I.) and first-year Niall Dillon (Duxbury, Mass.) both contributed two goals and two assists, while classmate Brendan Duffy (Duxbury, Mass.) added two goals and one assist. Sophomore Connor Maloney (Hopkinton, Mass.) won 8-of-11 face-offs and juniors Zach Cattaruzza (Guilford, N.H.) and Daniel Madden (West Islip, N.Y.) combined for 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers in the win.

Duffy got the Beavers on the board less than four minutes into the contest, and Low and Brown followed with tallies to make it 3-0 with 4:37 left in the first quarter. Mass. Maritime cut its deficit to 3-2 late in the stanza, but Babson responded with the only three goals of the second quarter.

Junior Thomas Daly (Wantagh, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the year to extend the lead to two at the 9:45 mark, while classmate Connor Flaherty (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) and Doten struck just 39 seconds apart late in the frame for a four-goal margin.

Dillon converted a feed from Doten to push the Babson lead to 7-2 with 7:23 to go in the third quarter, and senior John Harrison (Pembroke, Mass.) scored 37 seconds later to make it 8-2. Dillon struck for his second goal of the quarter at the 2:35 mark, while Brown set up sophomore Austin Fabel (East Rockaway, N.Y.) and Low late in the period to give the Beavers an 11-2 edge entering the fourth quarter.

McLean stopped Babson's eight-goal run with his second tally of the day just under two minutes into the fourth. The Green and White followed with the next four markers though, as Duffy, Low, sophomore Jason Cox (Westwood, Mass.) and first-year Brett Bottomley (Mercer Island, Wash.) all scored in less than three minutes to make it 15-3 with 6:38 to play.

First-year Kenan Glasgold (Princeton, N.J.) made eight shots in just less than three and a half quarters in his first career start for the Beavers. Senior James Klose (Ellicott City, Md.) stopped nine shots in 55:03 for Mass. Maritime.

The Green and White finished with the edge in shots (43-28), ground balls (51-37) and face-offs (13-of-24), and went 3-for-6 on extra-man opportunities.
