-That spark carried over to the home half of the third when the Ladies took the lead.

-After singles from Sara Campagna (Saint Charles, Ill.) and Britny Patterson (Corona, Calif.), Lauren Graf (Allen Park, Mich.) added a single of her own through the left side to push Grace Finn (Escondido, Calif.) across home plate. In the next at-bat, Emily Buckwalter (Phoenixville, Penn.) smacked a double that bounced over the fence, pushing the lead to 3-0. Kenyon added three more runs the rest of the frame including two by error.

-The Cougars never regrouped after that seven-run frame by the Ladies. Clark's only runs of the game came in the sixth inning which brought the tally to 7-2.
