CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
First year Grace Hulslander had three goals but Harvard women's lacrosse (3-3) fell, 17-6, to No. 11 Denver at the Harvard Stadium Bubble on Sunday afternoon (March 10).

Junior Hannah Keating added a pair of goals, senior captain Nicole Baiocco had two assists, and sophomore goalkeeper Grace Rotondo made 11 saves for the Crimson.

Harvard was within striking distance of the Pioneers early in the second half, trailing 7-5 after Keeley MacAfee's goal at 26:28 of the frame made it a two goal game.

But Denver went on a nine goal run to put the game out of reach for good.

Hulslander gave the Crimson an early lead, cutting right down the middle of the crease and beating Denver goalkeeper Carson Gregg at 27:54 of the opening half to make it 1-0. After two Denver free position goals at 25:54 and 25:04, the Crimson regained the lead on a great feed from Baiocco to Keating for a goal at 21:46.

Hulslander's free position goal (18:38), and man-up goal (1:54) bookended a four-goal run for Denver, as the Pioneers led 6-4 at the break.

  • First-year Grace Hulslander (three goals) recorded her third multiple-goal effort of the season and is second on the Crimson with 10 goals on the year.
