UMass Field Hockey Recognized by NFHCA for Academic Success

Minutewomen collect National Academic Team Award with 3.5 grade-point average during Fall 2018 semester
CHANDLER, Ariz. – University of Massachusetts field
hockey was recognized on Monday as a recipient of the National Academic
Team Award, announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The award is presented annually to teams that boast a grade-point
average in excess of 3.0 during the Fall semester.
Under the leadership of head coach Barb Weinberg,
Massachusetts once again made the cut after turning in a collective 3.5
GPA last Fall, joining the rest of the Atlantic 10 as Davidson, La
Salle, Lock Haven, Richmond, Saint Francis, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph's
and VCU all shared the NFHCA honors.
