BC HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
  • Boston College snapped a 12-game winless streak in the all-time series against the Big Green on Tuesday afternoon to earn their first ever win against the Big Green. Following the victory, BC moves to 7-1 in non-conference play this year and 2-0 against the Ivy League opponents.
  • Trailing 7-6 at the half, the Eagles scored eight goals in the final 30 minutes. This was the first game since March 11, 2015 where BC trailed at halftime and was victorious. In that game, BC was down 8-6 against Louisville at the break and won 16-15 in overtime.
  • Kenzie Kent became the first BC Eagle since 2010 to record at least 10 points in a single game. With five goals and five assists, Kent matched Lauren Costello's 10 points registered against Iona on April 7, 2010, a 19-5 victory for the maroon and gold. She tied Costello for the second most points scored in a game all-time, with only Lauren Miller having more points (11), a feat Miller accomplished on April 22, 2001 vs. Stanford.
  • Kent, a Norwell, Mass. native, became the first Eagle with five goals in a game since Covie Stanwick recorded five goals against Boston University on May 3, 2015.
  • With her 10 points, Kenzie Kent set a new career best. She matched a career high with five goals for the third time in her career while her five assists also set a new career high for the midfielder.
  • On her third save of the game, Zoe Ochoa moved into eighth place in program history for career saves. With her 10 saves this afternoon, she surpassed Rachel Zeller, who played for the Eagles between 2001 and 2002, who had amassed 218 career saves.
  • With her second draw control of the afternoon, senior Sarah Mannelly moved into seventh place in the program record book for career draw controls. With her three draw controls today, Mannelly passed Jenna McCabe's mark of 105 DC's between 2006 and 2009.
  • Sarah Mannelly also moved into fourth place in program history with her 70th career assist in the first half at Dartmouth. With five helpers today, the New Canaan. Conn. native passed Courtney Legath (2002-05) on the all-time list.
  • Sarah Mannelly also set a career best with five assists. She became the first Eagle to record five assists in a single game since Lauren Miller's nine assist/10 point game against Stanford on April 22, 2001.
  • Tess Chandler matched a career high with four draw controls while Elizabeth Miller matched career bests with two draw controls and two caused turnovers.
  • Freshman Dempsey Arsenault set new career bests in draw controls (4), ground balls (4) and caused turnovers (3).
  • Kate Weeks netted a career high four goals while recording her ninth multi-goal game of the season, which leads all players.
  • Head coach Acacia Walker recorded her 50th career win at the helm of the BC program. The second winningest coach in program history, she recorded her 50th win in only 74 games, the fastest to achieve that feat. Additionally, her .676 winning percentage is the highest in the 25 year history of the varsity program.
