Wheaton Women's Tennis Falls 8-1 to #31 Brandeis

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Wheaton College women's tennis team had its hands full Friday afternoon falling to the #31 Brandeis Judges 8-1.

Brandeis opened the match with a clean sweep in doubles action, before picking up five straight singles points.

Trailing 8-0, Wheaton earned its lone point from the No. 4 singles spot with a Connor O'Keefe victory. The first-year earned a 6-3 win in the opening set against Ariana Ishaq, before falling 6-0 in the second set. O'Keefe then pulled out a 10-3 win in the deciding set.

The Lyons return to the court on Sunday, April 10 for a 1 p.m. match at Colby-Sawyer.
