No. 63 Women's Tennis Tallies 4-3 Victory Over No. 61 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 63 Harvard women's tennis team (11-9, 1-3 Ivy) earned a 4-3 decision over No. 61 Princeton (11-9, 3-2 Ivy) Sunday afternoon at the Jadwin Gymnasium.

Harvard jumped on board first winning the doubles point with its No. 1 and 2 pairings. June Lee and Erica Oosterhout defeated Amanda Muliawan and Dorothy Tang 6-1, while Sabrina Xiong and Annika Ringblom earned a victory over Katrine Steffensen and Emily Hahn with a score of 6-4.

In singles play, three Crimson players recorded a win. Nikki Kallenberg in the No. 2 position lost in
the first set, 3-6, but fought back with a 7-6 (7) and 6-1 victory. Amy He in the No. 6 singles spot secured her 23rd, by surpassing the Tiger's Alanna Wolff with set scores of 7-5, 6-2. Erica Oosterhout saw a quick match against Princeton's Sivan Krems in the No. 3 singles position with set scores of 6-2, 6-2.

Harvard will travel to Yale on Friday, April 15 for a 2 p.m. match, while hosting Brown on Sunday, April 17 for a 1 p.m. contest.
