Harvard's Thompson and Mah Reach One-Meter Board Finals at NCAA Zone A Diving Championships

Mikaela Thompson claimed ninth out of 59 divers in the women's one-meter competition Monday (Harvard Athletics).

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The first day of the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships wrapped up Monday evening with Mikaela Thompson and Alisha Mah both reaching the women's one-meter board finals.

Thompson proved to be Harvard's top finisher in the event, posting a top-10 score in the finals. After ranking 11th in the prelims, Thompson improved to ninth in the finals, finishing her day with a score of 514.60. Mah claimed 18th in both the prelims and the finals and concluded the event with a score of 459.05.

On the men's side, David Pfeifer was in action on the three-meter board, finishing in 23rd against a tough field.

Competition continues Tuesday (today) with the women's three-meter and the men's one meter. Wednesday will be the final day of competition with the men and women both competing on the platform.
