BC HIGHLIGHTS
  • Senior Jessie Daulton went 1-of-3 with a solo home run. Her blast broke a scoreless game and was her fifth homer of the season.
  • Freshman Carly Severini went 0-of-3 at the plate, snapping her hit streak at eight games.
  • Sophomore Jordan Chimento (0-3) failed to reach base, ending her streak of reaching base safely in nine consecutive games.
  • Sophomore Allyson Frei pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and striking out five to earn her eighth win of the season. 
  • Sophomore Jessica Dreswick came on in relief with runners on the corner and one out, before getting the final two outs and picking up her third save on the year.
  • The Eagles have now won eight of their last nine games.

TURNING POINT
  • Senior Jessie Daulton's home run in the sixth inning was all Boston College needed to earn the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After five innings of scoreless baseball, Daulton sent a ball over the left field fence to stake the Eagles to a 1-0 lead late in the game.
