Toomey's Five RBI Power Salem State to 12-2 Win

SALEM, MASS. – Salem State opened up a close game with a seven-run fourth inning as the Vikings coasted to a 12-2 victory over Plymouth State on Wednesday afternoon at The Central Campus Baseball Field. Alex Toomey (Beverly, Mass.) had three hits, including a triple and five RBI to lead Salem State (13-9).

The Panthers (9-10) scored a run in the first as Geoff Kayo (Londonderry, N.H.) knocked in Jimmy Zimolka (Londonderry, N.H.), who led off the game with a walk. Vikings' starting pitcher Ryan Kelleher (Hanover, Mass.), despite early control problems, settled in and struck out all three Plymouth State batters in the third. Kelleher walked four and threw four wild pitches, but the Panthers could not take advantage as they did not score in the fourth despite having runners on second and third with no outs. Catcher Zac Duval (Middleton, Mass.) recorded a key out as he picked off Nate Frederick (Worcester, Mass.) who had drifted too far off third.  

Leading 2-0 thanks to a two-run triple by Toomey in the third, the Vikings took advantage of a key error by the Panthers to plate seven runs in the fourth. Jose Cedano (Lawrence, Mass.) scored the first run with an RBI single, plating Duval, who had led off the inning with a double to right. The Vikings then strung together four straight hits, scoring five runs in building a 9-0 lead. Mac Daniel Singleton (Everett, Mass.) and Toomey hit back-to-back singles, which was followed by a triple to deep center by Kyle O'Connor (Lynn, Mass.). Duval capped the scoring with a single to center.
Panthers' starter Marc Phinny (Gloucester, Mass.) allowed nine runs (three earned) on 10 hits in 3.2 innings of work.  Joshua Guptill (Celmson, S.C.) came in to relieve Phinny and ended the inning with a strikeout.

Zimolka added an RBI single in the fifth, but Salem State scored three more in the bottom of frame to take a 12-2 lead.  Shawn Rebello (Milford, Mass.) doubled to right and an error led to another run before Toomey notched his fifth RBI of the game with a single to left.

Nick Aslanian (Lynnfield, Mass.) relieved Kelleher in the seventh. Kelleher earned his first win, going six innings, giving up two runs on five hits with five strikeouts.

???????Aslanian, Steve Leavitt (Peabody, Mass.) and Brock Riley (Lowell, Mass.) each tossed a scoreless inning in relief to close out the game.

???????Cedano went 3-for-5 at the plate with an RBI and three runs scored for the Vikings.  

Panthers Outlast Vikings 12-8

SALEM, MASS. –  Griffin Jacobson (Windham, Maine), Ryan Croatti (Brunswick, Maine) and Connor Delea (Manchester, N.H.) combined for six goals and three assists as Plymouth State held off Salem State 12-8 in a Little East Conference matchup on Friday evening at Alumni Field. The Panthers improve to 4-4 on the season and 2-0 in the Little East. The Vikings dip to 3-7 and 0-2 in conference.

Casey Elkins (Stow, Mass.), Drew Lederer (Jefferson, Mass.), Chris Waterbury (Clinton, Conn.), Thomas Kelly (Chantilly, Va.), Trevor Gagnon (Pelham, N.H.) and Trevor Barrett (Amherst, N.H.) all scored goal for Plymouth State.

Charlie Bourgeois (Billerica, Mass.) – 2 goals, Zach Persson (Danvers, Mass.) – 2 goals, Jay Colletti (Billerica, Mass.), Tyler Billouin (Bedfrod, Mass.), Craig Denehy (Salem, Mass.) and Jack Feeney (Abington, Mass.) notched scores for Salem State.

The Panthers held a 3-2 lead after one period of play. It was Salem State's Colletti, who struck first, notching his third goal of the season in the opening minute. Croatti, netted back-to-back scores for the Panthers, midway through the period before Billouin tied the game again at 2-2. However, Elkins snuck in a goal right before the buzzer, giving the visitors a one-score advantage.

Bourgeois answered for Salem State quickly to open the second. Though once again the Panthers aided by goals from Jacobson and Delea took a two-score lead, 5-3 with 11:46 remaining. Lederer then extended the lead to 6-3 with his fifth of the year for Plymouth State.  Following a timeout, Persson and Denehy netted goals less than two minutes apart to pull the Vikings to within a goal at 6-5. Bourgeois continued Salem State's run with his second of the game, tying the score with 4:16 left before halftime.

Waterbury broke the tie just seven seconds into the third period for the Panthers. Salem State's Persson followed with a wrap-around goal, tying the game once again at 7-7. Consecutive scores from Kelly and Gagnon gave the Panthers a two-goal lead before Feeney pulled the Vikings to within 9-8 with 4:09 left in the quarter. 

Jacobson made the score 10-8 with a man-up goal less than thirty seconds into the fourth.  Barrett added another score for Plymouth State with 7:45 left on the clock, giving the Panthers some breathing room as Plymouth State built an 11-8 lead. Delea capped the scoring with his second of the night as the Panthers took a 12-8 decision.

Kyle Stockman (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) won 17-22 faceoffs and while grabbing a game-high 10 groundballs.

Zel Kerkel (Loudon, N.H.) made two saves in the win. Chris Schaub (Brewster, N.Y.) stopped 16 shots as the Panthers outshot Salem State 44-25.

Gordon Rallies For Win In Seventh

WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon rallied for a 7-6 win over Salem State on a walk-off two-run home run by Arianna Ramsaran in the bottom of the seventh inning on Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings took a 6-5 lead in the top of the sixth on an RBI double by Jen Crovo (Melrose, Mass.).

However, Caitlin Catalanotto hit a single down the left field line to bring the game-winning run to the plate with one out. Ramsaran took a ball on the first pitch before hitting the walk off home run to left field to seal the win for Gordon.

The Fighting Scots (5-10) got on the board first in the bottom of the first with a two-run home run by Catalanotto. Chloe Manousos Lowell, Mass.) hit a solo home run in the top of the first for the Vikings (7-8) to make it a 2-1 game. Sarah Ryder scored off an error by the catcher in the top of the second to stretch the lead back out to two runs.

Salem State (7-8) scored one run in the top of the fourth and three runs in the top of the fifth after loading the bases to make it a 5-3 game. Gordon tied the game in the bottom of the fifth as Ramsaran reached first off an error by the right fielder that scored Jasmine Mullally and Kristen Brown.The Fighting Scots were able to put two runners on base in the bottom of the sixth with two outs, but were unable to score. They forced two pop outs and a ground out in the top of the seventh to keep the deficit at one run entering the bottom of the inning. 

Meghan Black (Winchendon, Mass.) started the game for the Vikings allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits in four innings. Brooke Westmoreland (Saugus, Mass.) finished the game in relief, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits in 2.1 innings.

Vikings Hold Off Jumbos 7-5

SALEM, MASS. –  Joe White (Bellingham, Mass.) went-3-for-4, with four RBI, including hitting his second home run of the year and pitcher Brock Riley (Lowell, Mass.) improved to 4-0 on the season as Salem State held off Tufts 7-5 at the Central Campus Baseball Field on Monday afternoon.

Riley pitched six innings and allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits with five strikeouts to remain unbeaten on the year.  

Riley escaped trouble in the first after allowing a leadoff walk and two singles in the inning. Madoc Fisher (Wayne, N.J.) threw out Tommy O'Hara (Glenview, III.) attempting to steal second, and Riley ended the threat when John Moschella (Little Silver, N.J.) hit into a fielder's choice.

Vikings, Bears Split Doubleheader

SALEM, MASS. –  Salem State and Bridgewater State split a doubleheader in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) opener for both schools on Friday. Originally scheduled to be played at Bridgewater State, Jen Crovo (Melrose, Mass.) went 3-for-4 with three RBI to help Salem State to a 12-7 win in game one.  In game two, Mackenzie Holt (Gilroy, Calif.) pitched four solid innings, allowing just a run on seven hits as the Bears won 6-2.

Game 1
Tied 1-1 in the third, the Vikings plated three runs to open a 4-1 lead. A wild pitch scored the first run while Crovo knocked in two more with a base hit to center.  Kaitlyn Shaw (Lakeville, Mass.) replaced starter Holt in the third after Holt allowed six runs on five hits. Trailing 6-3, Bridgewater State pulled to within a run on an RBI single by Kacie Carvalho (Fairhaven, Mass.), but Salem State pitcher Meghan Black prevented further damage as she retired Samantha Mulcahy (Tauton, Mass.) with the bases loaded to keep the Vikings in front.

Bourgeois Scores Five Goals to Lead Salem State Past Dallas

SALEM, MASS. --  Charlie Bourgeois (Billerica, Mass.) scored a season-high five goals and added an assist as Salem State pulled away in the third quarter to earn a 9-4 victory over the University of Dallas at Alumni Field on Monday afternoon.

Hunter Spencer (Beverly, Mass.) – 2 goals, Zach Persson (Danvers, Mass.) and Craig Denehy (Salem, Mass.) notched goals for Salem State.

J.P. Hasson (Fairfax, Va.), Peter Early (San Antonio, Texas), Chasen Reynolds (Fallbrook, Calif.), Tucker Jameson (Mechanisville, Md.) each scored a goal for Dallas.

The Vikings received back-to-back scores from Persson and Denehy to open the game. Dallas responded with a score by Early, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Bourgeois answered right back for Salem State (3-6) with his first of the game before Reynolds drew the Crusaders back to within a goal at 3-2 at the end of the first. Dallas (6-6) scored the only goal of the second as Jameson tied the game with 8:40 left, allowing the teams to head into halftime tied 3-3.

The Vikings surged ahead with four third period goals, all scored by Bourgeois as Salem State built a 7-3 lead heading into the fourth. Spencer added two more scores for the Vikings in the fourth before Hasson capped the scoring for the Crusaders with 5:32 remaining that made the final 9-4. 

Chris Schaub (Brewster, N.Y.) made 14 saves to earn the win while Zach Isham (Chicopee, Mass.) finished the game making a pair of saves while allowing a goal.

Christian Lopez (Las Vegas, Nev.) stopped 13 shots for Dallas.

Dan McLaughlin and Hasson each had a team-leading five ground balls. McLaughlin won 8-of-9 draws for the Vikings.  

Buccaneers Top Vikings

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. – Massachusetts Maritime Academy rode a relentless offensive attack against Salem State University to earn an 8-5 victory and improve to 2-1 on the season. Benjamin Avakian and Cody Livermore provided much of the fire as the former drilled home four goals, while the latter dished off four assists.

The two clubs started off slowly, with only a single shot apiece in the first five minutes, but the Buccaneers pelted shots relentlessly in the direction of Chris Schaub for the middle third of the first quarter, finally breaking the deadlock at 6:08 left with an unassisted goal from Avakian.

Just over a minute later, however, the Vikings picked up the ricochet off another Avakian shot, charged down the field and, in three passes, scored an equalizer off the stick of Charlie Bourgeois. Zach LeRose earned the assist.

However, the tie did not last long as 45 seconds later, midfielder Casey Fisher struck a goal off a pass

Huskies Overwhelm Vikings 7-0

Salem, Mass. -- Kaylie Andrews (Kittery, ME) and Tayla Smedberg (Oxford, ME) each scored two goals as the Huskies of Southern Maine dominated the Vikings of Salem State 7-0 Tuesday on 'Think Pink' night at Alumni Field. The Huskies improve to 7-8 and 6-3 in the Little East Conference while the Vikings slide to 1-10 and 0-9 in the LEC.

Southern Maine's attack on offense allowed the Huskies to control the clock as they possessed the ball for the majority of the first half. Moving the ball well, the Huskies were able to score three goals in the half on eight shots on net. At the 11:15 mark, Southern Maine tallied their first goal of the contest when Kaylie Andrews (Kittery, ME) put home a rebound that was shot by Kerigan Demers (Westbrook, ME). One minute later, the Huskies added to their lead when Makayla Garvin (Springvale, ME) rang the back of the net when she received a pass from Jennifer Poulin (Winslow, ME) from the left side of the net for the easy goal. Just before the end of the half Andrews added her second goal of the game to give Southern Maine a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

The Huskies continued to surge in the second half as they added a total of four scores, including two goals in a row within a minute span from Smedberg that gave Southern Maine a large lead at 4-0 with 25 minutes remaining in the half. Lindsay Jackson (Readfield, MA) tacked on the final Huskies' goal to make the score 7-0.  Salem State had no answer against the Huskies as they didn't get off one shot in the second half. Southern Maine outshot the Vikings 15-2 for the game as Salem State goaltender Carolyn Woodin (Arlington, MA) made six saves.

Huskies' goalie Elizabeth Amadei (Falmouth, ME) had an easy night in net as she only had to make one save in the shutout.

Salem State hits the field again on Saturday, Oct. 15 when they travel to Fitchburg State to take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The Huskies look to improve their record on Oct 15. When they travel to Worcester State to take on the Lancers at 11:00 a.m.

Seahawks Clip Vikings 3-0

Newport, R.I. -- Salve Regina defeated Salem State University 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-14) in a non-conference meeting at the Rodgers Recreation Center on Tuesday evening.

Olivia Summit (Peabody, Mass.) and Emily Hennessy (Hanover, Mass.) both tied for the team lead in kills for the Vikings with three each. Hannah Mullarkey (Salem, Mass.) had a match-high 16 digs for Salem State.

Salve Regina junior Samantha Higgins (Coventry, R.I.) - had a match-high eight kills while boasting a .46 2 hitting percentage. Higgins also added two digs, two blocks, and three aces. Salve Regina sophomore Erin Proctor (Canton, Mass.) - had a match-high 27 assists to along with nine digs, two aces, and a block.

The first set was back and forth with both teams holding the lead. The Seahawks were holding a narrow 16-13 when a kill from Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.) brought Syndey Puffer(Kittery, Maine) to the line. Puffer would serve eight times as the Seahawks completed a 9-0 run to stun the Vikings and take the first set 25-13. Salem State committed five straight errors to end the set.  Errors were a major problem for the Vikings as they committed 26 while the Seahawks only committed 13.

Salem St. (3-15)  will travel to Wentwworth for a tri-meet with Pine Manor on Saturday, Oct. 8th.

SCOTS POST 9-0 VICTORY OVER SALEM STATE

WENHAM, Mass.— Salem State suffered a 9-0 result to Gordon College on Thursday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex. The Fighting Scots received straight-set wins across the board in the singles.

Gordon's Abbie Denney (Peoria, Ariz.) and Justine Hanson (Meadow Vista, Calif.) managed an 8-1 win to put the first point on the board over Madeline Allaire (Columbus, OH) and Ann Spence (Attleboro, MA). Maddie Berry (Paso Robles, Calif.) and Gabby Brucker (Eleva, Wisc.) followed suit with an 8-2 win at the second flight over Cassie Morrison (Clinton, MA) and Kristin Klimowicz (Ipswich, MA) , while Haley Bean (Trumbull, Conn.) and Emily Ontiveros (Sylmar, Calif.) doubled up their opponents 8-4.

Kaelyn Hall (Sugar Land, Texas) showed well with a 6-1, 6-3 result over Allaire (Columbus, Ohio) at first singles while Emily Leahy (Lake Zurich, Ill.) blanked her opponent at the fifth flight.

Bean stayed unbeaten on the day with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Spence at the third singles flight to bring Gordon to the brink of victory. Abby Caron (Bedford, N.H.) came through for Gordon with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the two spot to clinch the match overall, defeating Morrison 6-1, 6-1.

Brucker and Ontiveros closed out the sweep with solid wins at fourth and sixth singles respectively.

The Vikings (0-5) will look to get into the win column next Tuesday when they host Worcester State at 3:30 p.m. Gordon (4-3) has a busy weekend with the ITA New England Regional tournament on Friday and a Commonwealth Coast Conference match at Western New England on Saturday at noon.

MIT CRUISES PAST SALEM STATE 4-1

Salem, Mass. --  MIT used a ball control offense to post a 4-1 victory over the Salem State Vikings on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. The Engineers outshot Salem State 24-5 to earn their fifth win of the season. MIT improves to 5-3 while Salem State slides to 0-7.

Amy Apostol (Los Gatos, Calif.) put the Engineers on the scoreboard in the 23rd minute when she beat Salem State keeper Amanda Backe (Danvers, Mass.) with a shot from 10 yards outs. Despite finding the net just once in the first half MIT dominated play, outshooting the Vikings 8-1.

The second half saw most of the action continue to take place in the Vikings' end. Olivia Struckman (Scottsdale, Ariz.) extended the lead to 2-0 when she raced untouched from midfield and went around Backe who drifted to far from the box in trying to prevent the shot.

Salem State finally got on the board late in the second half as freshman Casey McFall (Wilmington, Mass.) scored he first goal of the year. The Vikings took advantage of a poor clear attempt by MIT keeper Lauren Ulmann (Princeton, N.J.), who was beaten when McFall laced a shot over the head of the MIT goalie.

Claire O'Callaghan (Sherborn, Mass.) iced the game for MIT, scoring back-to-back goals in the the 83rd and 85th minutes to make the final 4-1.        

Ullman made two saves in the win before giving way to Lily Mueller ((Lakeville, Minn.) who did not face a shot. Backe stopped 10 shots in the loss for the Vikings, who were outshot 16-4 in the second half.

The Vikings hope to bounce back at home on Saturday against MCLA at 1:00 PM. MIT will be on the road as the Engineers travel to Springfield to take on the Pride at 2:30 PM Saturday.

Salem State Ends Season With 12-4 Loss to Fitchburg State

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The third seeded Fitchburg State women's lacrosse team defeated sixth seeded Salem State University, 12-4 in quarterfinal round action of the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's lacrosse tournament this evening at Elliot Field.

Salem State opened the scoring as junior Carolyn Woodin found the back of the net for her 20th marker on the season before the Falcons responded with a pair of tallies from junior Ali Laferriere and classmate Andrea Comeau for the 2-1 advantage.

Vikings Clipped By Seahawks

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University baseball freshman John Kussmaul (Brick, N.J.) singled to left center in the bottom of the ninth inning to drive in the winning run in a 6-5 victory over Salem State. The Vikings committed four errors on the afternoon, including an error in the eighth inning that allowed the Seahawks to tie the game 5-5. Salem State slips to 13-16-1.

Salem State took a 4-2 lead in the top of the fifth inning when Mike Davis (Peabody, Mass.) hit a two-run homer to left field, then was followed up by a Richard Fecteau (Newbury, Mass.) solo shot. The lead did not last long however as the Seahawks score twice in the bottom of the frame to even things 4-4.

With the game tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth the Seahawks had two men on with no outs after Alex Perry (No. Attleboro, Mass.) drew a lead-off walk and Zach Zmith singled. Pete Gonski (East Lyme, Conn.) was able to get both Tristan Dacey (Wyckoff, N.J.) and Colton Eremian (Boca Raton, Fla.) to strike out swinging setting the stage for Kussmaul. Down to his last strike Kussmaul ripped a single into left field. Perry rounded third and took off for home, the throw from the outfield was short and wide allowing Perry to score uncontested at home plate giving the Seahawks a 6-5 walk-off victory.

Salem State had a chance to take a lead in the top of the ninth when Fecteau was hit by a pitch then advanced to second on a wild pitch with two outs. Jepsen struck out  Dan Connors (Danvers, Mass.) to retire the side and the Vikings left another runner in scoring position. 

Jose Cedano (Lawrence, Mass.) went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored.

Salem State plays Worcester State in a doubleheader at noon. Salve Regina is at Gordon also on Saturday for a noon doubleheader.

Salem State Loses 7-5 to UMass Boston

Salem, Mass. -- Dan Mantoni (Northbridge, MA) went 2-for-4 with two RBI's as the Beacons of UMass Boston defeated the Vikings of Salem State 7-5 Wednesday afternoon at the Central Campus Baseball Field. The Beacons enhance their record to 16-12 while the Vikings drop to 13-15-1.

As the second batter of the game, Mantoni took Will Twiss (Middleton, MA) deep with a homerun over the leftfield fence to give the Beacons an early 1-0 lead. Later in the inning, Kyle Boudrias (Medford, MA) brought in Ryan Olivo (Rochester, NY) with a single to increase the lead to 2-0. However, the Vikings got both runs back in the bottom of the inning as Dan Connors (Danvers, MA) drove in Richard Fecteau (Newbury, MA), who doubled over the right field fence in the beginning of the inning. With the next at bat, Joe White (Bellingham, MA) tied the game at 2-2 with an RBI-single.

Beacons Earn 7-2 Victory Over Vikings

Boston, Mass. – Salem State lost a 7-2 decision to UMass Boston in Little East action on Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings slip to 5-4 and 2-2 in the Little East. The Beacons improve to 5-9 and 3-1 in conference.

Salem State secured two doubles wins as John Didonato (Newbury, Mass.)/Kevin Lam (Salem, Mass.) won first doubles 8-6 over Josh Bhasin (Tulsa, Okla.)/Austin DeLasse (Mexico City, Mexico). Luke Hodgkins (Winthrop, Mass.)/Jacob Averka (Sutton, Mass.) earned the other point with an 8-4 victory over Hector Mata (San Salvador, El Salvador)/Zeke Hernandez (Baytown, Texas).

The Beacons swept all six singles matches. Chen Chen (Lawrence, Mass.) lost a tough match at No. 2

Riley Scores Season-High Eight Goals in Vikings 19-9 Win

Salem, Mass. – Erin Riley (Wakefield, Mass.) scored eight goals to lead Salem State to a 19-9 win over Mass Maritime in women's lacrosse action on Tuesday evening at Alumni Field. The Vikings improve to 6-6 and pick up their first Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) victory and are now 1-3 in the league. The Buccaneers slip to 4-7, and 1-3 in conference.

Carolyn Woodin (Arlington, Mass.) – four goals, Courtney Smith (Peabody, Mass.) – three goals, ,Kristina Conlon (Dracut, Mass.) two goals, three assists,  and Dailey Hancock (Stoughton,Mass.) and Chelsea Smith (Tewksbury, Mass.) – one goal apiece with Smith registering three assists all contributed to the victory.

WESTFIELD, Mass. --  Salem State swept a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader from Westfield State by scores of 5-4 and 4-0 at Bud and Jim Hagan Field on Monday afternoon. Salem improves to 13-14-1 overall and holds a share of the MASCAC lead at 7-1 in conference play.  Westfield drops to 13-15 and 4-4 in the MASCAC.

In the opener, the Vikings scored a pair of runs in the 6th inning to snap a 3-3 tie. Richard Fecteau (Triton Regional/Newbury, Mass.) and Dan Connors (Danvers, Mass.) each delivered an RBI single.

Vikings Win Game Two 6-3 Over Owls, Lose Game One, 3-1

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Salem State and Westfield State split a MASCAC doubleheader Monday afternoon at Alumni Field. The Owls took the first game, 3-1, before falling 6-3 in the second contest. In the opener, Westfield broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and freshman pitcher Sarah Eugenio (Marshfield, Mass.) finished out her sixth win of the season. In game, two Jessica Raymond (Peabody, Mass.) went 4-for-4, and Rachael Cyr (Amesbury, Mass.) added a home run to lead the Salem State to victory. Salem State in now 10-14 on the season, 5-3 in conference play.Westfield State moves to 11-16 overall, 4-4 in the MASCAC.

Salem State struck first, scoring an unearned run in the top of the second, when catcher Desiree Moreno (Ashburnham, Mass.) advanced to third on a wild pitch and then scored when the catcher's throw sailed over the third baseman's mitt. Salem, Mass. -- Salem State won their third match in a row with a 6-3 win over Rhode Island College in Little East play on Saturday afternoon at the Central Campus Tennis Courts. The Vikings improve to 5-3 and 2-1 in the LEC. The Anchormen slip to 2-9, 0-2 in conference.

Courtney Smith Scores Five Goals in Vikings' 11-5 Win

Salem, Mass. – Courtney Smith (Peabody, Mass.) scored five goals and added three assists as Salem State easily defeated Regis College 11-5 on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. Salem State improves to 4-5 while the Pride slip to 6-4.
