WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons women's soccer player Kashka Gammon (Nashua, N.H.) was named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference and Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 5-11, it was announced by each league. Gammon earns the award from both organizations for the second straight week.

The honor marks the third time that a Simmons College player has been selected by the GNAC this season. Senior Greer Gilbert (Falmouth, Mass.) was also named for the week of September 7-13.
Gammon tallied five goals for 10 points in a pair of matches on the week. The sophomore registered her first collegiate hat trick with three goals, including the game-winner in a 4-1 victory at Norwich University on October 7.
