UPDATE: New Jersey Mall Shooting Gunman Killed Self

The gunman who opened fire at a popular New Jersey mall was found dead due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound overnight in the basement.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli and Paramus Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg confirmed at a press conference that 20-year-old Richard R. Shoop's body was found at 3:20 a.m. local time in "a ... Byzantine area of new construction" within the Garden State Plaza mall. Molinelli said Shoop killed himself with the same weapon he used at the mall and that a note was found. Ehrenberg said the area where Shoop was found was not open to the public.

There was no one shot during the mall shooting in New Jersey, a lot of terrorized people.

UPDATE: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Clings To Life

UPDATE: Boston, Massachusetts - Boston marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, today is clinging to life after an all day manhunt for him on Friday that resulted in a lock down in the Watertown area including Boston where people were asked to stay indoors. The young man was at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center today. It is the same hospital where Tsarnaev's older brother Tamerlan, 26, was brought early Friday after a shootout with police. Tamerlan died of his wounds.

A hospital spokesperson said early this morning that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was still alive, however the FBI asked they give no updates on his condition.

When he was taken into custody from the bottom of a boat in the backyard of a Watertown home Friday night, the suspect was bleeding badly and too weak to resist any longer, officials said.

Police believe Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was initially wounded Thursday night in the gun battle that killed his brother. Police said they found blood in a car he abandoned and blood at a house. Police said he went undetected by the massive manhunt because he had managed to get just one block outside the search perimeter.

UPDATE: Boston Celtics Announce Fundraiser For Boston Marathon Victims

UPDATE 2:06 p.m. ET: Boston, Massachusetts - The Boston Celtics announced today that they are planning to help raise money to support the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.

"Our Celtics family and our fans join all Bostonians in demonstrating our city's great strength by coming together to stand as one to get through this difficult time ," Boston Celtics Managing Partner and Shamrock Foundation President Stephen Pagliuca said in a news release." We are proud of all the heroic efforts that were made during this horrible tragedy and would like to show our support to those victimized by this terrible act."

The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation along with multiple team initiatives, the team has committed to raise $200,000 to support The One Fund Boston.

Proceeds from the sale of special Celtics limited edition "Boston Stands as One" t-shirts will go to support The One Fund Boston.

UPDATE: MBTA Service Resumed & Lockdown Lifted

UPDATE: Boston, Massachusetts - According to a press conference this evening, MBTA has resumed and lockdown has been lifted.

Call your local FBI or Police department if you see Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, do not confront if you see him. Keep your eyes wide open if you see anything suspicions that will help the FBI and Police department.

UPDATE: Boston Comic Con Postponed

UPDATE: Boston, Massachusetts - The Boston Comic Con to be held April 20th-21st, 2013 has been postponed.

BOSTON UPDATE: It is confirmed the there are 3 dead, over 176 injured with 17 of those still in critical condition.  The FBI has taken charge of the investigation and states that there were only the 2 bombs.  There are also reports of a search of an apartment in Revere overnight. Evidence was removed from the residence.

I would like to start this morning by thanking the first responders from Boston EMS and Boston Fire Department and the volunteer physicians, nurses, and medical staff from the community who volunteered at the marathon. Their services and heroic actions saved lives yesterday afternoon.

We continue to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our JTTF [Joint Terrorism Task Force] partners and the Boston Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police, as well as all of the other JTTF agencies.

Our mission is clear—to bring to justice those responsible for the marathon bombing.

The American public wants answers. The citizens of the city of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts want and deserve answers. This group of dedicated men and women standing before you today pledge to do everything possible to get those answers.

This remains a very active investigation. Our ongoing investigation in various locations throughout the area goes on. However, there are no known additional threats. We continue to interview various witnesses and process the crime scene, which could take some time. The citizens of Massachusetts and the city of Boston should expect to see the FBI and its JTTF partners conducting investigative activity in the greater Eastern Massachusetts and Boston areas.

Assistance from the public remains critical in establishing a timeline of events, which leads to swift conclusion through due diligence and strong investigative activity.

We commend the public. We commend the citizens of Boston and the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the information that has been provided to law enforcement so far. And we strongly encourage that assistance to continue.

It is paramount to explain the FBI and our JTTF role to a greater extent—the volume of tips we have received and reiterating the resources we provide. We have received voluminous tips over the last 18 hours since the incidents.

We have staffed our 1-800-CALL-FBI tip line and we continue to encourage individuals to contact that line with any additional tips.

We are bringing additional victim assistance and Evidence Response Team resources from our Headquarters components and the field offices to Boston. And they are on site working as we speak, processing evidence at the crime scene.

To the extent the crime scene still plays in Copley perimeter—it continues to be a crime scene and may be that for days.

The FBI JTTF is logically following up on a variety of leads. You will see us and our law enforcement partners interviewing, maybe, your neighbor or co-worker or even yourself in coming days. We encourage you to please cooperate with law enforcement authorities.

The resources of the FBI and the JTTF allow for swift action, which we hope will yield quick results. But that does not diminish our diligence and persistence in combing through the high volume of evidence and leads that we are processing right now. We are just beginning upon that path.
