Springfield College Softball Walks Off Twice Against Skidmore to Pick Up Two Non-Conference Wins

Springfield, Mass. - Two walk-off victories helped the Springfield College softball program pick up a pair of wins over Skidmore College on Tuesday afternoon, as the late-game heroics of senior Melissa Nelson (Milford, Conn.) and Carianna Gasdia (Wakefield, Mass.) helped the Pride to improve to 15-9 overall at Potter Field.

Nelson was a combined 4-for-8 at the plate in the two games, while she picked up a pair of RBI in the first game, while Gasdia was 2-for-4 in the second game, also registering two RBI on the day.

Up next, Springfield will travel to Western New England on Wednesday, April 13 and play two games starting at 3 p.m.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 13 Harvard women's water polo team fell short to No. 16 Princeton, 9-7, in its final game of its opening weekend of CWPA play Sunday at Canham Natatorium.
