With the win, the Rams improve to 12-6 on the year, while Smith falls to 3-14 on the year.
The Rams were led by senior Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) who recorded match-highs of 16 kills and 18 digs. Rackliffe had just one error on her 34 attempts for a .441 hitting percentage. Sophomore Casie Thurber (Springfield, Mass.) added five kills and five blocks, including three solo, while senior Julia Wan (South Deerfield, Mass.) added three kills and eight digs. Freshman Deirdre Fay (Cornwall, NY) chipped in with five kills and eight digs, while junior Vicki Anderson (Attleboro, Mass.) added eight digs.
The Rams are back in action on Thursday night with a non-conference game at Clark University slated to begin at 7 p.m.
