Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Action at Middlebury Invitational

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Amherst College women's tennis team wrapped up action at the Middlebury College Invitational Sunday afternoon in Middlebury, Vt.

SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS VS. MIDDLEBURY

• Sue Ghosh '16 defeated Lily Bondy, 6-4, 7-5.
• Jackie Calla '17 defeated Christina Puccinelli, 6-2, 3-6, 10-2.
• Vickie Ip '18 bested Sadie Shackelford, 6-3, 6-3.
• Kelsey Chen '19 earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Lauren Amos.
• Sarah Monteagudo '16 defeated Molly Paradies, 6-2, 6-2.
• Megan Adamo '17 was edged by Catherine Miller, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).

SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS VS WILLIAMS

• Camilla Trapness '19 defeated Francesca Eluhu, 5-7, 6-0, 10-6.
• Avery Wagman '18 downed Carmen Saab, 6-4, 6-3.
• Kelly Yang '19 defeated Charlotte Scott, 6-2, 6-2.
• Jane Fraley '19 fell to Alex Stone, 7-6 (7-1), 6-1.
• Joanna Booth '19 lost to Kori Neveux, 6-2, 5-7, 10-4.
• Claire Carpenter '17 was defeated by Leah Bush, 6-1, 6-3.
