Western New England runs at the Westfield State James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park

WESTFIELD, MA – Western New England finished 20th among of 38 teams at the Westfield State James Earley Men's Cross Country Invitational Saturday (Oct. 10) at Stanley Park.

With 373 runners crossing the finish line, this was the biggest race of the season for the Golden Bears.

Jonathan Ricciardi led WNE by placing 63rd with a time of 28 minutes, 4.92 seconds over the 8,000-meter course.

The next two Golden Bears performers were Chris Goymer who was 96th in 28:29.47 and Adrian Barber who took 136th in 29:02.27.

Justin Zorn of Union (NY) was the top collegiate runner (and second overall) in 25:53.77 in leading the Dutchmen to the team title.

Saint Rose (NY) took second followed by Westfield State, Norwich, and the University of New England.
