CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Paul Stanton, Jr. of the football team has been named COOP Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-10.
In Harvard's 45-0 win over Georgetown Friday evening, Stanton rushed
15 times for a season-high 113 yards. He scored two touchdowns on the
ground to give him 33 total touchdowns and 31 rushing scores for his
career (second in school history). Stanton found the back of the end
zone on rushes of 4 and 37 yards in the first and second quarters,
respectively. The Crimson has now won 17-straight games, its longest win
streak since 1912-14.
Football travels to Ithaca, New York on Saturday, Oct. 10 for an Ivy League match-up against Cornell.
