Ashley Spencer Argota born January 9, 1993 is a Filipino-American actress, singer, and student. She is best known for role as Lulu in the Nickelodeon sitcom True Jackson, VP. She also co-starred as Kelly Peckinpaw in Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures on Nickelodeon.

Caroline Sunshine Cast In ABC Family Drama Pilot "Recovery Road"

Eighteen year old Caroline Sunshine is making a big return to the small screen as a series regular in ABC Family’s drama pilot Recovery Road. The new series is based on Blake Nelson’s novel about a teenage girl dealing with addiction.

According to Deadline; Recovery Road centers on Maddie Graham (Samantha Logan) who has a reputation as a party girl and doesn’t think she has a problem, until she’s confronted by her school guidance counselor and forced to choose between expulsion and rehab. Maddie opts to spend her nights living with other recovering addicts at a rehab facility, and her days pretending everything is perfectly normal among her high school classmates and her closest friends.

Caroline has been cast in the role of Emily Owenby, Maddie’s “best friend from childhood who is becoming increasingly concerned about Maddie’s partying.”

Caroline Sunshine Attends 26th Annual Kids Choice Awards

Caroline Sunshine was born September 5, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Thom and Karen Sunshine. She has two younger brothers, John (born in 1997) and Christopher (born in 2000). Sunshine was raised in Orange County, California, and began studying ballet at the age of 3. In kindergarten she landed her first lead role playing Goldilocks in a classroom play, then acted with the Orange County Children’s Theater, and danced competitively with the South Coast Performing Arts studio in Tustin, California. Sunshine’s stage credits include Annie Warbucks at the Orange County Children’s Theatre, The Nutcracker at the Academy of Dance and South Coast Performing Arts, and Stage Door at the Lutheran High School of Orange County.

Sunshine began going on professional auditions at age 11, and landed her first role in a commercial for Amazing Allysen the talking doll, as well as commercial work for Yoplait Go-Gurt, and Cap’n Crunch. In 2010, Sunshine filmed her first pilot for the CBS sitcom, Team Spitz, starring Rob Riggle of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart as a high school coach and her father on the show. Later that same year, she gained popular notoriety for her role as Barbara Winslow in her first feature film Marmaduke based on the comic strip of the same name. Sunshine currently has a recurring role on the Disney Channel original series Shake It Up! as European exchange student Tinka Hessenheffer alongside Kenton Duty as her flamboyant fraternal twin brother Günther. The glitzy brother/sister duo of Günther and Tinka is said to be inspired by Ryan and Sharpay Evans of Disney’s High School Musical franchise.

In addition to her work on Shake It Up, Caroline has been busy working on new music! In 2012, Caroline had featured songs on the Shake It Up: Live 2 Dance soundtrack and the Disney Channel Holiday Playlist. She has also been working on other music and performing at shows across the US! Stay tuned for much more from Caroline in the coming year!
