UPDATE 6:51pm; According to Boston Fire Department, This fire continues to burn across the entire roof at the roofs edge on Dot Ave. Apparatus being repositioned as precaution. Expect this section of Dot Ave from Ashmont St. to Washington St. closed entire night. Smoke thick. Please stay inside.
UPDATE 4:09pm: Fire still heavy in the top (6th) floor ceiling and roof. Multiple ladder pipes and both Tower Unit on scene. No injuries.

Response at 2:30pm to 1971-1977 Dorchester Ave for a celling fire on the top floor of a 6 story building under construction.
Now 6 alarms. No injuries. Building has 83 units. Fire has weakened the roof. Air handlers on roof in danger of collapsing.
