BREAKING NEWS: Firefighters Battling 2nd-Alarm 165 Lamartine St, Boston Structure Fire

12pm Update: According to Boston Fire, No injuries. Damage estimate at $1,000,000.00 . 4 adults displaced. There were 5 children in the day care and all safely evacuated. Fire Investigators on scene for cause and point of origin.
11:05am Boston Fire Department Updates: Response at 10am to 165 Lamartine St in Jamaica Plain for a building fire. Heavy fire on arrival from a 2 1/2 story single family house with a day care in the basement. Now a 3rd alarm, posted 32 minutes ago.

All residents safely evacuated including those in the day care. No injuries at this time. Extensive overhauling ops underway, posted 30 minutes ago.

2nd-3rd alarm companies are clearing the scene.

10:35am: Heavy fire knocked down, checking hotspots, extensive overhaul. Holding all companies.
10:23am Update: Fire knocked down on third floor.
10:14am Update: Command has ordered a third alarm.
BREAKING NEWS: Boston, Massachusetts - Firefighters are battling a 2nd-Alarm structure fire, fire showing from all three floors, on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 at 165 Lamartine St in Boston, Massachusetts.
