BREAKING NEWS: Firefighters Responds To 573 Washington Street Boston 3rd-alarm Structure Fire

Update #7: Boston Fire Department tweets, Commissioner has given an initial damage estimate of $1,000,000.00. Do not expect Fire Investigators to gain access until the water in the basement subsides. Several feet there now.
Update from Boston Fire Department, Fire continues to burn just under the roof. Hampered by the large billboard and the danger of collapse. Operating at safe distances. 4+ hours in.
Update #5: Firefighters are still working on putting the fire out. Partial roof collapse.
Update #4: Command has ordered a 4th-alarm. Boston Fire Department says, 4th Alarm ordered. Still heavy fire in the cockloft. Using the foam now carried in all the new engines. No injuries at this time.
Update #3: Boston Fire Department says, Exterior fire operations. Multiple blitz guns and ladder pipes being used. No injuries at this time. Ongoing.
Update #2: According to Boston Fire Department, Response at 9:18am to 573 Washington St. by Codman Square for a building fire. Smoke showing from the basement of a 1 story taxpayer. Now a 3rd Alarm.
Update #1: Firefighters to use .2% form.
BREAKING NEWS: Boston, Massachusetts - Firefighters responds to 573 Washington Street in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 for a 3-alarm commercial structure fire.

Firefighters are ordered out of the building.

Heavy fire in the void space under roof.

Fighting fire from outside.
