Rubinstein Sets Personal Record at ECAC Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Smith College track and field team concluded the indoor season with a strong performance at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Indoor Track and Fields Championship Friday evening and Saturday afternoon at Ocean Breeze Park.
Sophomore Zoe Rubinstein (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) set a new personal record in the pole vault on Saturday. Her jump of 11-10"  was good for 5th place and All-Conference Honors.
Rubinstein, a sophomore, joined three first-years, Amelia Stapleton (Troy, N.Y./The Doane Stuart School), Aliece Goodman (Taproom Bay, Eleuthera, The Bahamas/Lawrence Academy), and Raegan Thomas (Dallas, Tex./Garland), in the 4 x 200 meter relay on Friday night. The squad ran a season best time of 1:48.07 placing 13th.
The team will kick off the outdoor season at Tufts on March 26.
