WATER PROJECTS
Market Street: DeFelice will bacteria test the intersection of Salem Street and Market Street, and put it into service pending passing results. They will finish laying main on Market Street from Salem Street up to Parker Street, and may test the newly installed main based on their production. They will also begin to cut in valves on Market Street at Foster Street and South Union Street. This intersection work will necessitate shutdowns outside of the bypass-serviced area. All affected customers will be notified two days in advance of the shutdowns.
South Union Street: DeFelice will finish connecting homes and businesses to the temporary bypass. Bypass connections will necessitate short term interruptions in water service. Residents and businesses will be notified 24 hours in advance of any interruption.
Paving: DeFelice’s sub-contractor, PJ Albert will begin milling and paving curb to curb in South Lawrence on the following streets:
