BREAKING NEWS: Boston Fire Department Battling 3rd-Alarm 360 Meridian Street Fire

UPDATE 3:11pm: Boston Fire Department tweet, Found in the building was this cat here with FF David McSweeney of Engine 7. Cat was placed in a Chiefs car and the heat turned up. To be reunited with its owner. Nice job!
UPDATE 2:13pm: Command is requesting Red Cross to assist between 15-20 residents.

Still chasing some hot spots. No injuries. This is s duplex house with at least 8 units in it. Initial damage estimate is $500,000.00

UPDATE 1:30pm: According to Boston Fire Department, All firefighters were ordered off of the roof. Unstable. A cockloft fire; the expanded area above the top floor ceiling but below the roof. Interior operations ongoing.
UPDATE 1:13pm: Command is ordering all people off the roof.
UPDATE 1:08pm: According to Boston Fire Department, Response at 12:40pm to 360 Meridian St. East Boston for a building fire. Ladder 2 called off with smoke showing from the 3rd floor of a 3 story wood frame house. Fire in the top floor ceiling extended through the roof. 2nd alarm ordered.

Command is requesting a 3rd-alarm.
