Beverly, Mass. – The Framingham State University baseball team surrendered five runs in the fourth inning as they were defeated 8-3 Tuesday afternoon by Endicott College in non-conference action at North Field.

This is the second meeting between the two teams this season as Endicott defeated the Rams 9-5 back in March. With today's win, the Gulls improve to 18-9 on the year, while the Rams fall to 10-15.
The Rams grabbed the early lead on an RBI single from freshman Anthony Venuti (Braintree, Mass.) in the top of the second inning, but the Gulls crossed the plate five times in the fourth to take control of the game.

The Rams added two more runs in the game with Venuti factoring in each.  He scored unearned run in the top of the fifth on a failed pickoff attempt and drove in the Rams final run of the day with a sacrifice fly in the seventh.

Kyle Hodgson took the loss allowing six earned runs on six hits with a walk and two strikeouts in four and a third.
