Harvard's Romeo Tabbed Ivy Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Marisa Romeo and the Crimson are off to a 3-1 start (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After scoring four goals and finishing with five points in the Crimson's 15-6 win at Columbia Saturday, junior attacker Marisa Romeo has been honored as the Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Romeo shares the distinction with Penn's Nina Corcoran.

A native of Syracuse, New York, Romeo led all players in the game in scoring, and she netted three of her goals in the first half. At 19:44 of the second, Romeo notched her fourth score and then assisted on a tally by Audrey Todd just 16 seconds later at 19:28.

Romeo leads the Crimson with 10 goals this spring and has scored 95 times in her career.

Harvard stands at 3-1 overall and is 1-0 in the Ivy League. The Crimson will host New Hampshire in Harvard's home opener Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. The game will be shown live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
